I was 16 years old. My first cigarette was a Marlboro Menthol, which led me to start smoking Marlboro Menthol Blacks. I found myself smoking 10+ a day while I finished High School and later attended college.

At the age of 19 I tried to quit smoking however, I was only successful for 9 months before I started to smoke Marlboro Lights. I continued to smoke for many years.

 

After marriage I attempted to quit smoking again by vaping. This also only lasted a short time as I just found myself going back to a cigarette because vaping just didn't do it for me and I craved the taste of a cigarette.

I have only successfully quit smoking when my husband and I were expecting children. During both stints I quit smoking for about 18 months. 
Currently I find myself smoking American Spirit Yellows and have no plans of quitting. I love the flavor of my American Spirits and also enjoy that they are more natural compared to other brands. I enjoy that they last a little bit longer than your more common cigarettes.

Per request I also enjoy smoking other brands of cigarettes and trying new brands as well.
